Samsung Announces Galaxy Z TriFold

Samsung just announced the foldiest of its foldable phones yet: a 6.5″ phone that folds out in two directions into a 10″ tablet. The 2160 x 1584 inner screen can be configured with three 6.5” phone-sized app windows or any number of other configurations, including a fully windowed on-device DeX environment. When open, it is just 3.9 mm thick; closed it is 12.9mm, roughly equivalent to a Galaxy S25 Ultra in a case. It weighs 309g, about a third heavier than a Galaxy S25 Ultra with that case. Samsung’s New Display Tech: Micro RGB TV. Maximum Color, Near Maximum Price

Samsung recently launched a new type of TV: micro RGB. Due to the sheer size (115”) and cost ($30,000) of the new micro RGB TV sets, Samsung isn’t sending out review units, so I headed over to the company’s new U.S. headquarters in Northern New Jersey to get eyes on.
